10 Jun Saiosh CPD POINTS
SA Fire and Medical Academy (SAFMA) is now accredited to certify learners with CPD points after attending our legislative training at the Academy. The South African Institute of Safety and Health, (Saiosh) recognize our training for learners to earn up to 5 CPD points for all our Fire Fighting, First Aid, Health and Safe, Incident Management and Dangerous Goods Training.
What is CPD?
CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development.
CPD – Why is it important?
Through Regular training and workshops, learners from a wide range of Industries can maintain a professional competence. They will be able to keep abreast with new developments in the Occupational Safety and Health culture, and report this to the office or shop floor.
Is CPD compulsory?
Most governing bodies have made the CPD process compulsory and some are even conditional to the renewal of the professional’s practicing license.
Saiosh is a Professional body for Health and Safety Practioners and is approved by SAQA as such a body. It gives us by proxy as your training provider the opportunity to enhance your credentials and C.V and equip you for delivering a betters service to customers.
How can a professional obtain CPDs?
You can earn CDP Points by attending any Training Course at SAFMA and in addition to your SETA approved certificate be issued with an electronic copy of your required amount of CPD points.
